I realized I never finished posting the dead victorians paintings that I did for Lulubell Toy Bodega’s Dia de los Muertos group gallery show. I previously posted the father and the mother.
Here are the daughter, son and family dog.

Lulubell will be open during the All Souls Processional this Sunday, November 7th. So if you’re going to the parade, stop into Lulubell on 7th and Toole and see the show.

My wife and I had a few folks over this past Saturday to carve pumpkins for Halloween. My wife did a Dia de los Muertos inspired skull. I did a twist on the traditional smiling jack o’lantern.

And, of course, when pumpkins are being carved and there’s a baby around the size of ours, that baby is going in a pumpkin! Just look how happy he is. Happy first Halloween, young sir.

Yesterday I posted the father from my Dead Victorians series that will be showing in Lulubell’s Dia de los Muertos gallery show. Today, I present the skeletal mother.
Look for the children tomorrow!

Dead Victorians: Mother
It’s 5×7, oil on wood. They’ll be priced at $100 each or the entire set of 5 for $400.
And, as a reminder, Lulubell has moved to a new location at the corner of 7th and Toole. The address is 35 E Toole St #1.

Although I’m no longer curating for Lulubell, I am still going to periodically participate in their group shows. That includes their annual Day of the Dead show which will be opening this Saturday, October 16th from 6 to 9 pm. I’ll be exhibiting a series of 5 small portraits, all of which include a different member of a skeletal Victorian family. Here is the father.
