Hey All,
Opening this Friday, October 26th, is my first group museum show, “Transposed Art”. The invite for the show is below. Click on it for a giant printable version.
You may notice that the invite is in Spanish. That’s because the show is happening at the Museum of the Popular and Indigenous Cultures in Hermosillo, Mexico. If you happen to be in the province of Sonora on the 26th at 7:00 PM, I’m expecting for you to attend!

If you can’t attend the show, the three paintings that I’m including are below and have also been added to the newly opened paintings section of the website. More will be added to that really soon.

Thanks,
Phil

Hey All,
I’ve found an open studio for life drawing here in Tucson called the Drawing Studio.
I’ve attended the past couple weeks and now I’ve updated my sketchbook thread over on the Ten Ton message boards with the results. Look for that thread to be updated on a regular basis as long as I can make it to each week’s session.
Be aware that the link above does contain mild drawn nudity if you want to steer clear of that sort of thing.

Hey all!
I just learned that three more of my projects have been published.
I have 10 illustrations in the newest set of cards for White Wolf’s Vampire:The Eternal Struggle called “Lords of the Night.” I’ve updated the color gaming gallery with a few of them. You can get the booster packs from several places, including White Wolf’s website.
Also from White Wolf comes World of Darkness: Reliquary, an expansion book for the World of Darkness. I did five interior illustrations for the book and I’ve updated the black and white gaming gallery with a few of them. Below is the cover (which I didn’t do) so you can
find it on your bookseller’s shelf!
Lastly, from Catalyst Game Labs come my first contribution to Shadowrun, the cyberpunk role-playing game set in 2070. I did four interior illustrations for the new rule book called “Emergence“. I’ve added them to the black and white gaming gallery. You can order it from Amazon or your local bookseller. Below is the cover (which, I didn’t do).
I’m waiting for a few more projects to come out soon and I’ll update this here front page when they do!

Hey All,
I’ve started my Weekly Influence back up over at the Ten Ton Studios website. This week I wrote about Frank Frazetta.

Check it out and visit the Ten Ton message board to join the conversation about Frazetta’s influence!

The San Diego Comic Convention was a blast this year. Nothing out of line happened, which was kind of nice. No unprovoked homeless people threw empty bottles at my head this year. So, really, that’s gotta be a good year.
There were an unbelievable number of people in attendance. Both Friday and Saturday were sold out. I actually read somewhere that Sunday, traditionally the slowest day of the con, sold out too. Crazy. That con is getting to big for it’s own good.
Anyways, I’ve posted all of my photos from the con to the Ten Ton message boards, along with the other three Ten Ton members to go. Check out the photos and let us know how the con went for you!
I met some really cool people and gained some leads on a few projects. Hopefully they’ll pan out and, when they do, you can read about it here!
