Shadowrun: Seattle 2072

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

Hey All,

If you happen to be at or are going to GenCon this weekend be sure to stop by the Catalyst booth to pick up your copy of Shadowrun: Seattle 2072. It’s a new all-color title and I’ve contributed 3 images to the book.

I’m not sure when the book will hit stores but I’ll be sure to update here when it happens.

I’ll also update the galleries with the images when I can.

Emerald City Comic Con!

Friday, April 3rd, 2009

Hello All!

I’m about to get on a plane because I’m attending the Emerald City Comic Convention in Seattle this weekend. I have a table in Artist Alley, number C-09. The con runs this Saturday and Sunday.

I’m going to be doing sketches & painted sketches and I’ll also have a slew of prints and original art for sale.

So be sure to stop by and say “hello” if you’re going to be there.

Back from San Diego!!

Monday, August 6th, 2007

The San Diego Comic Convention was a blast this year. Nothing out of line happened, which was kind of nice. No unprovoked homeless people threw empty bottles at my head this year. So, really, that’s gotta be a good year.
There were an unbelievable number of people in attendance. Both Friday and Saturday were sold out. I actually read somewhere that Sunday, traditionally the slowest day of the con, sold out too. Crazy. That con is getting to big for it’s own good.

Anyways, I’ve posted all of my photos from the con to the Ten Ton message boards, along with the other three Ten Ton members to go. Check out the photos and let us know how the con went for you!

I met some really cool people and gained some leads on a few projects. Hopefully they’ll pan out and, when they do, you can read about it here!

Phil

San Diego Comic Con

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

Like everybody else in the known universe, I’ll be at the San Diego Comic Convention this weekend. I didn’t get a booth this year with my Ten Ton cronies so I’ll just be wandering around the floor while trying not to spend all of my money on sketchbooks and toys. Along with me, others from the Ten Ton crew will be there including Reilly Brown, Khoi Pham and Chris Burnham. Things will happen. Probably not all of it good.

I’ll post a little write-up afterwards about how things went. Perhaps photos will be included. I just don’t know. The future isn’t that clear.

New York Comic Convention

Monday, February 26th, 2007

I attended the New York Comic Con with my fellow Ten Ton Studios members this past weekend. We had a blast selling our wares and doing sketches for people.

Thanks to all the people who stopped by to say “hello.”

I, sadly, won’t be attending another con until San Diego in July.

Here are some of the sketches that I did for folks who came by our table.

Dr. Strange

The Sentry

Hellboy

I am available for commissions still. So if you’re interested in getting a convention style sketch of your favorite character, just e-mail me for availability and prices.

Thanks!
