So things are going well on the donation front! We’ve had two folks donate. Many thanks go out to Lee Ann (my mom!) and Chuck (my father-in-law!) for their support. It kinda makes the misery worth it. Now where are all of you other slackers who have been laughing and not paying up?! I bet you’re the same people that sneak into movie theaters and pirate music. Just like you laugh at me without paying the kids. For shame.

The kids will remember this. Remember, they are our future. If we don’t teach them well before we let them lead the way, whatever happens, it’s your fault. So think on that.

We’ve had four more days of growth here in casa de Hilliker and it’s just as sad as ever. On the plus side, I’ve gotten my hair cut. So there’s that at least. Here’s gif of the last 4 days. Yeah, I don’t see much difference between them either.

It’s also long enough now that I’m starting to get comparisons to other, famous people. Here are three examples now.

Most flattering, this-person-must-be-on-crack comparison goes to Jason for the reference to Lt. Aldo Raine.

My favorite comes from fellow mustache grower Adam Rex with Errol Flynn. Yeah, Errol’s the man. Check out Adam’s mustache adventure over at his blog!

But the most apt, the one that gets closest to the sad sad truth, the one I don’t want to admit to myself and makes me cry in the wee hours of the morning comes from Tanya with John Waters.
